City Council Decision
City Council on June 14 and 15, 2023, adopted the following:
1. City Council authorize the Acting Chief Building Official and the Executive Director, Toronto Building, on behalf of the City, to negotiate, to enter into and to execute a Limiting Distance Agreement with the owner of 4340 Dufferin Street, a private parcel of land that abuts to the north the City-owned land known municipally as 4330 Dufferin Street (as shown in Attachment 1 to Member Motion MM7.18), to enable the City's construction of a solar carport at 4330 Dufferin Street, all on terms and conditions that are acceptable to the Chief Building Official and the Executive Director (Acting), Toronto Building and in a form satisfactory to the City Solicitor.

Speaker Nunziata advised Council that the provisions of Chapter 27, Council Procedures, require that Motion MM7.18 be referred to the General Government Committee. A two-thirds vote of the Council Members present is required to waive referral.
