City Council Decision
City Council on December 14 and 15, 2022, adopted the following:
1. City Council request Metrolinx to form a Construction Liaison Committee that meets weekly, composed of representatives from Pape Avenue Public School, the City of Toronto and local residents.
2. City Council direct the General Manager, Transportation Services and the General Manager, Toronto Water, in consultation with the Local Councillor, to have appropriate City Staff attend a meeting with the Pape Avenue School Council to collect feedback on the traffic and transportation impacts of the Ontario Line Construction.
3. City Council direct the General Manager, Transportation Services to ensure that the City requires Metrolinx to take any and all measures to ensure the ongoing safety of the local community with respect to pedestrian safety, noise and vibration impacts, and any other construction impact of the Ontario Line.

Speaker Nunziata advised Council that the provisions of Chapter 27, Council Procedures, require that Motion MM2.2 be referred to the Executive Committee. A two-thirds vote of the Council Members present is required to waive referral.
