City Council Decision
City Council on December 13, 14 and 15, 2023, adopted the following:
1. City Council amend Part 2 of Section C, Composition and Term in the Council-approved Terms of Reference for the City-School Boards Advisory Committee by:
a. reducing the number of Members of City Council from 4 to 2;
b. deleting the requirement for each of Toronto's four Community Councils to be represented; and
c. providing for one trustee from each of: conseil scolaire Viamonde and the conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir
so that Part 2 of Section C reads as follows:
2. The Committee will be composed of up to seven (7) members:
- Two (2) Members of City Council (one as Chair);
- Two (2) Trustees appointed by the Toronto District School Board;
- One (1) Trustee appointed by the Toronto Catholic District School Board;
- One (1) Trustee appointed by the Conseil scolaire Viamonde; and
- One (1) Trustee appointed by the Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir.
