City Council Decision

City Council on December 13, 14 and 15, 2023, adopted the following:

1. City Council direct the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning, to issue the Request for Proposal for the Glencairn Subway Station Planning Study within the first quarter of 2024, such study to:

a. include the identification of future social and community infrastructure that is needed within the study area to accommodate future growth; and

b. investigate any traffic and transportation improvements in the Marlee and Lawrence Avenue West corridor as identified in item 2022.IE27.14 - Urgent Need to Support Comprehensive Transportation Study to Address the Hyper Gridlock and the Related Traffic Safety Issues at Lawrence Avenue West, Marlee Avenue, and the Allen Road.
