Speaker Nunziata advised Council that the provisions of Chapter 27, Council Procedures, require that Motion MM13.14 be referred to the Etobicoke York Community Council. A two-thirds vote of the Council Members present is required to waive referral.

Point of Order by Councillor Anthony Perruzza

Councillor Perruzza, rising on a Point of Order, stated that the Speaker allowed Members in the Chamber to be very disrespectful. Councillor Perruzza stated that Members may disagree with the opinion of Councillor Holyday, but the Speaker allowed Members to heckle, laugh, berate, yell loudly, comment, be snidey and not once did the Speaker bring one of those Members to order or ask them to be respectful of Councillor Holyday.
