The purpose of this training session is to equip Members of City Council with a comprehensive understanding of their oversight responsibilities under Section 19 of the Safe Drinking Water Act. It is important that elected officials understand their responsibilities and act in accordance to ensure the protection and safety of the users of municipal drinking water systems.
Training materials provided by the Walkerton Clean Water Centre will be made available to Members of Council through the Clerk's Meeting Portal, for review in advance of the meeting.
