The Board of Governors of Exhibition Place:
1. Concurred with the action of the Chair, Board of Governors of Exhibition Place and the Chief Executive Officer, Exhibition Place in authorizing conference expenses for Gilles Bouchard, Director, Event Management Services to attend the International Association of Convention Centre (AIPC) Canadian Academy 2023 in Toronto from October 22-26, 2023, at a cost not expected to exceed $5,000 plus Harmonized Sales Tax, for registration, accommodation, and incidental expenses.

This report recommends approving registration and accommodation expenses for Gilles Bouchard, Director-Event Management Services to attend the inaugural edition of the AIPC Canadian Academy 2023. This ground-breaking event is co-organized by the International Association of Convention Centre (AIPC) and the Convention Centres of Canada (CCC).
On June 23, 2023, the Chair of the Board in consultation with the Chief Exhibition Officer of Exhibition Place approved the travel expenses pursuant to their authority under the Board Financial By-law 2-18, Article X and seek concurrence of the Board.
