There were 0 lost time injuries and 2 medical aid injuries in the Q1 2023 as compared to 0 lost time injuries and 1 medical aid injury during the same period of 2022. During the Q1 2023 there were successful denials of 2 WSIB claims.
Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) invoiced costs for the Q1 2023 were approximately 116 percent higher than those in the same period of 2022. This is attributable to increased Long Term Disability costs and higher WSIB claim costs.
