The Board of Governors of Exhibition Place:

1.  Requested the Chair, Board of Governors of Exhibition Place to send a letter to Mark Grimes conveying the Board’s appreciation for his service and leadership on the Board.

The Chair and the Members of the Board of Governors of Exhibition Place acknowledge, thank and applaud former City Councillor Mark Grimes, for his years of service and dedication as the Chair of the Board of Governors of Exhibition Place.  A crystal clock will be engraved with Mark's name and years of service to the Board and delivered to him along with a letter conveying the Board’s appreciation.

The Board extends its sincere appreciation for his excellent leadership, continued support, and dedication to the Board of Governors and Exhibition Place over the last 12 years.  Mark has championed many incremental projects and played a pivotal role in boosting the profile of sports at Exhibition Place. The development of Exhibition Place’s 2022-2026 strategic plan was built with a forward-thinking perspective, recognizing that both Exhibition Place and the surrounding area are undergoing complex infrastructure transformation.  Under Mark’s leadership the groundwork and development of a transformational road map aligning the resources with the priorities, will lead Exhibition Place towards the steady Vision of becoming Canada’s Premier Destination for Conventions, Exhibitions, Events, and Entertainment.

The Board extends best wishes to Mark Grimes as he pursues his future endeavors.
