Speaker Frances Nunziata opened the floor and called for nominations for Deputy Speaker.

Mayor Olivia Chow nominated Councillor Paula Fletcher for the position of Deputy Speaker.

Speaker Frances Nunziata called for nominations three times. There were no further nominations. Nominations were closed.

Speaker Frances Nunziata put the matter to a vote. Council voted to elect Councillor Paula Fletcher as Deputy Speaker.
