City Council Decision
City Council on June 14 and 15, 2023, adopted the following:
1. City Council appoint the following candidates to the Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation Board of Directors, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending June 16, 2025, and until successors are appointed:
Maureen Clohessy
James Meeks
2. City Council direct that the balance of Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (May 18, 2023) from the City Clerk remain confidential as it relates to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation Board of Directors.

Maureen Clohessy
My life is a rich tapestry with the common thread throughout being a passion for social justice, equality and human rights. My career in the healthcare sector has involved work in dual-diagnosis, mental health, addictions and concurrent disorders. I'm also active in BIPOC rights and climate action. I've been involved in the development of Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation for over 2 years as a Senior Tenant Advisory Committee Member and look forward to contributing further as a Tenant Member of the Board of Directors.
James Meeks
James Meeks joined the Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation Board of Directors in May of 2021 at the start of Toronto's mission to provide seniors-focused housing. He is a member of the Quality and Tenant Engagement Committee and championed the City of Toronto's three Quality Improvement Projects; Safety and Security, Pest Management and Staff and Tenant Engagement. He is dedicated to building a legacy of a just, inclusive, diverse community where Toronto's seniors can live in dignity.
