Description:

For the emergency repairs in the City of Toronto for Area 1 and Area 2 in the City of Toronto from date of award to December 31, 2023, with the option to renew the Contract for three (3) additional separate one (1) year periods at the sole discretion of the City and subject to budget approval.

Should the option periods be exercised, then the General Manager of Transportation Division will request the Acting Chief Procurement Officer to process the renewal under the same terms and conditions.

The cost calculations for the option years reflect an estimated three (3) percent Consumer Price Index increase applied annually to the annual cost after the initial year.

The total potential contract award identified in this report including all option periods for Areas 1 and 2 is $7,410,192 net of all applicable taxes and charges and $8,373,517 including all applicable taxes and charges. The total potential cost to the City for Areas 1 and 2 is $7,540,612 net of HST recoveries.
