Description:

Material Specification Compliance Testing, Project Quality Assurance Services for Utility Cut Repairs within the City of Toronto for Transportation Services. The term of the agreement is to be for the period from date of award to December 31, 2023, with an option in favour of the City to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional one (1) year extension.

Should the option be exercised, then the General Manager of Transportation Services Division will request the Chief Procurement Officer to process the renewals under the same terms and conditions.

Contract Award Value:

$289,880 net of all applicable taxes and charges

$327,564 including HST and all applicable charges

$294,982 net of HST recoveries

Contract is expected to start from the date of award to December 31, 2023.

The total potential contract award identified in this report including the option period is $587,857 net of all applicable taxes and charges, $664,278 including all applicable taxes and charges. The potential cost to the City including the optional period is $598,203 net of HST recoveries.

The above cost calculations for the Option Year reflect an estimated annual 3 percent increase as per the Consumer Price Index.
