Community Council Decision
The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Waived the polling requirement under the City's Traffic Calming Policy and authorize the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Gough Avenue and authorized the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Gough Avenue between Danforth Avenue and the north end of Gough Avenue.
2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter sections of the roadway to install six speed humps on Gough Avenue between Danforth Avenue and the north end of Gough Avenue, for traffic calming purposes, generally as shown on Attachment 2, dated June 2022, attached to the report (June 13, 2022) from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services.

Transportation Services has reviewed the need for traffic calming (speed humps) on Gough Avenue, between Danforth Avenue and the north end of Gough Avenue. The assessment indicates the warrant criteria as set out in the City of Toronto's Traffic Calming Policy have not been satisfied. Therefore, staff do not recommend the installation of speed humps on Gough Avenue.

Motions
That the Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Waive the polling requirement under the City's Traffic Calming Policy and authorize the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Gough Avenue; and
a. authorize the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Gough Avenue between Danforth Avenue and the north end of Gough Avenue.
b. direct the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter sections of the roadway to install six speed humps on Gough Avenue between Danforth Avenue and the north end of Gough Avenue, for traffic calming purposes, generally as shown on Attachment 2, dated June 2022, attached to the report entitled "Traffic Calming (Speed Humps)-Gough Avenue", from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services.
