Summary

Residents on Pendrith Street brought forward a petition in 2020 signed by local residents, in support of the installation of speed humps between Ossington Avenue and Shaw Street. There are many vulnerable road users that reside along this street and in the vicinity, including young families and seniors that reside on the street, that are engaged daily in cycling and walking.

Residents have observed an increase in traffic and speeds in their neighbourhood and feel that the installation of speed humps could assist in addressing traffic safety issues and potentially mitigate cut-through traffic from Ossington.
