Community Council Decision
The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Waived the polling requirement under the City's Traffic Calming Policy and authorized the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Don Valley Drive.
2. Authorized the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Don Valley Drive, between Broadview Avenue and the west end of Don Valley Drive.
3. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter sections of the roadway to install four speed humps on Don Valley Drive, between Broadview Avenue and the west end of Don Valley Drive, for traffic calming purposes, generally as shown on Attachment 2, attached to the report (May 9, 2022) from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services.

Transportation Services has reviewed the need for traffic calming (speed humps) on Don Valley Drive, between Broadview Avenue and west end of Don Valley Drive. The assessment indicates the warrant criteria as set out in the City of Toronto's Traffic Calming Policy has not been satisfied. Therefore, staff do not recommend the installation of speed humps on Don Valley Drive.

Motions
That the Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Waive the polling requirement under the City's Traffic Calming Policy and authorize the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Don Valley Drive.
