The Toronto and East York Community Council: 

1. Amended the existing parking prohibition in effect each Thursday, April 1 to November 30, inclusive on the east, north and west side of Melita Crescent between Lambertlodge Avenue (west intersection) and Lambertlodge Avenue (east intersection) to be in effect between a point 61 metres south and east of Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection) and Lambertlodge Avenue (east intersection).

2. Prohibited parking each Thursday, April 1 to November 30, inclusive on the east side of Melita Crescent between Lambertlodge Avenue (west intersection) and Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection)

3. Amended the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times except Thursday, April 1 to November 30, inclusive on the west, south and east side of Melita Crescent between Lambertlodge Avenue (west intersection) and Lambertlodge Avenue (east intersection) to be in effect between a point 55 metres south of Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection) and Lambertlodge Avenue (east intersection).

4. Prohibited parking at all times except Thursday, April 1 to November 30, inclusive on the west side of Melita Crescent between Lambertlodge Avenue (west intersection) and Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection).

5. Authorized parking by permit only from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., from the 1st  day to the 15th day of each month, April 1 to November 30, inclusive on the odd (east) side of Melita Crescent from Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection) to a point 43 metres south

6. Authorized parking by permit only from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., from the 16th  day to the last day of each month, April 1 to November 30, inclusive on the even (west) side of Melita Crescent from Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection) to a point 44 metres south

7. Authorized parking by permit only from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., from  December 1 of one year to March 31, of the next following year, inclusive on the odd (east) side of Melita Crescent from Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection) to a point 43 metres south

8.  Amended the existing parking by permit regulation in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at all times, except  each Thursday, from April 1 to November 30, inclusive on the odd side of Melita Crescent from Lambertlodge Avenue (west leg) to Lambertlodge Avenue (east leg) to be in effect  from a point 61 metres south and east of Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection) to Lambertlodge Avenue (east intersection).

9.  Amended the existing parking by permit regulation in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. each Thursday, from April 1 to November 30, inclusive on the even side of Melita Crescent from Lambertlodge Avenue (west leg) to Lambertlodge Avenue (east leg) to be in effect  from a point 55 metres south and east of Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection) to Lambertlodge Avenue (east intersection).

10.  Authorized parking by permit only from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at all times, except  each Thursday, from April 1 to November 30, inclusive on the odd side of Melita Crescent from Lambertlodge Avenue (west intersection) to Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection)  

11.  Authorized parking by permit only from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. each Thursday, from April 1 to November 30, inclusive on the even side of Melita Crescent from Lambertlodge Avenue (west intersection) to Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection)

12. Prohibited parking from 7:01 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, from the 16th  day to the last day of each month, April 1 to November 30, inclusive on the east side of Melita Crescent between Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection) and a point 43 metres south

13. Prohibited parking  from 7:01 a.m. to 12 midnight, from the 1st  day to the 15th  day of each month, April 1 to November 30, inclusive on the west side of Melita Crescent between Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection) and a point 44 metres south

14. Prohibited parking at all times from  December 1 of one year to March 31, of the next following year, inclusive on the west side of Melita Crescent between Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection) and a point 44 metres south.

I am writing to respectfully request a number of parking changes on Melita Crescent that would provide alternate side parking to residents on the north/south segment of Melita Crescent, south of Wychcrest Avenue (west intersection).  Residents presented a petition to my office requesting this in order to promote efficient flow of traffic, as well as to allow street sweepers and snowplows to reach the curb without parked cars impeding their progress.  My office has worked closely with both Traffic Operations staff and Permit Parking staff in coming up with these recommendations.
