Refused to grant the application for an exemption permit, by the owner(s) of 58 Saugeen Crescent to maintain a swimming pool enclosure wooden fence setback that measures 10 inches on the west side, 10 inches on the east side and 6 inches on the south side from the water's edge which does not meet the requirements as specified in the Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 447-1.3E(1.A) Construction Standards.

This staff report concerns a matter for which the Scarborough Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.
The purpose of this report is to consider an application by the owner(s) of 58 Saugeen Crescent, to maintain a swimming pool enclosure wooden fence that is closer than 1.2 metres horizontally to the water's edge that measures 10 inches on the west side, 10 inches on the east side and 6 inches on the south side and does not meet the requirements as specified in the Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 447-1.3E(1.A) Construction Standards. A Notice of Violation was issued on March 31, 2022.
