Committee Decision
The Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Advisory Committee:
1. Supported the 519 Community Centre Budget submission to meet the community's expressed service expectations and COVID-19 related expenses.
2. Recommends that:
City Council direct the City Manager to demonstrate that an intersectional Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer lens is incorporated in the preparation and adoption of the City's Operating and Capital Budgets to remove structural barriers that have historically excluded and harmed the diverse Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer communities.
