Origin

(February 4, 2022) Report from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

Transportation Services is recommending that the existing parking prohibition between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on the south side of Harrison Garden Boulevard be amended to prohibit parking at all times. The proposed amendment will deter parking at this location and will improve the sightlines of the motorists entering and exiting the driveway access at property number 80 Harrison Garden Boulevard.

During the course of the investigation, it was noted that Harrison Garden Boulevard has been extended further north to Oakburn Crescent and that the existing winter parking maintenance regulation is not updated. Recommendation 4 will correct this regulation.
