Community Council Decision
The Etobicoke York Community Council:
1. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the east side of Morgan Avenue, between a point 40 metres south of The Queensway and a point 74 metres further south thereof.
2. Authorized parking for a maximum period of 10 minutes from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the east side of Morgan Avenue, between a point 40 metres south of The Queensway and a point 74 metres further south.
3. Amended the existing school bus loading zone in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., daily, on the west side of Penhurst Avenue, between a point 27.5 metres south of The Queensway and a point 73 metres further south, to be in effect from a point 27.5 metres south of The Queensway and a point 97 metres further south.
4. Prohibited stopping from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the east side of Penhurst Avenue, between a point 35 metres south of The Queensway and a point 85 metres further south.

Summary
This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.
Transportation Services is recommending that the existing parking prohibition on the east side of Morgan Avenue be replaced with a maximum 10 minutes parking regulation. In addition, Transportation Services is recommending that the existing school bus loading zone on the west side of Penhurst Avenue be extended further south and that stopping be prohibited on the east side of Penhurst Drive, opposite the school.
The proposed amendments will provide short-term parking to facilitate pick-up and drop-off of school children at St. Louis Catholic School, provide additional space for school buses and improve traffic operations in the area of the school.
