The Etobicoke York Community Council:

1. Prohibited parking at all times, on the south side of Kinsdale Boulevard, between Cloverhill Road and a point 25 metres east of Cloverhill Road.

2. Authorized parking for a maximum period of 10 minutes from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the south side of Kinsdale Boulevard, between a point 25 metres east of Cloverhill Road and a point 60 metres further east.

3. Prohibited parking from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., Monday to Friday, and at all times, Saturday and Sunday, on the south side of Kinsdale Boulevard, between a point 25 metres east of Cloverhill Road and a point 60 metres further east.

4. Prohibited parking at all times on the south side of Kinsdale Boulevard, between a point 85 metres east of Cloverhill Road and Newholm Road.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

Transportation Services is recommending that a portion of the existing parking prohibition on the south side of Kinsdale Boulevard be replaced with a maximum 10 minutes parking regulation. The proposed amendment will provide short-term parking to facilitate pick-up and drop-off of school children at Etienne Brule Junior Public School and Humber Bay Child Care Centre.

During the course of the investigation it was noted that there is a discrepancy between the existing parking regulations and the posted signs on Kinsdale Boulevard between Cloverhill Road and Newholm Road. Recommendations 1, 3 and 4 will correct this inconsistency.
