The Board of Governors of Exhibition Place:

1.  Received the report (August 30, 2022) from the Chief Executive Officer, Exhibition Place for information.

This report provides information on the status of the Exhibition Place health and safety system, specifically on activities, priorities and performance during the second quarter of 2022.

There was 1 lost time injury and 4 medical aid injuries in Q2 2022 relative to 0 medical aid injuries in Q2 2021.

Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) invoiced costs for Q2 2022 were approximately 9 percent higher to those in Q2 2021. This is mainly attributable to an increase in Long Term Disability costs and a minor increase in overall WSIB claims.
