Committee Decision
The Economic and Community Development Committee:
1. Requested the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture, and the Executive Director, Corporate Real Estate Management, in consultation with the Chair and the Co-Chair of the Film, Television and Digital Media Board, and the Directors Guild of Canada, to report to the June 6, 2022 meeting of the Toronto Film, Television and Digital Media Board on any changes necessary to existing contracts for filming on city sites that would facilitate easier access and expedite the process; such report to include the list of current city properties that are being used for film purposes as well as those that have been requested but not currently permitted.
