City Council Decision

City Council on September 28, 2022, adopted the following:

 

1. City Council affirm its decision to state its intention to designate under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act as set out in its previous decision on Item 2022.CC45.5 on June 15 and 16, 2022 for the following the properties at:

 

a. 47 Huntley Street (including the entrance address at 2 Linden Street) in accordance with the Statement of Significance: 47 Huntley Street (2 Linden Street) (Reasons for Designation) in Attachment 2 to the report (September 12, 2022) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning;

 

b. 49 Huntley Street in accordance with the Statement of Significance: 49-59 Huntley Street (Reasons for Designation) in Attachment 3 to the report (September 12, 2022) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning; 

 

c. 51 Huntley Street in accordance with the Statement of Significance: 49-59 Huntley Street (Reasons for Designation) in Attachment 3 to the report (September 12, 2022) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning;

 

d. 53 Huntley Street in accordance with the Statement of Significance: 49-59 Huntley Street (Reasons for Designation) in Attachment 3 to the report (September 12, 2022) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning;

l. 1 Selby Street in accordance with the Statement of Significance: 1-3 Selby Street (Reasons for Designation) in Attachment 6 to the report (September 12, 2022) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning;

 

m. 3 Selby Street in accordance with the Statement of Significance: 1-3 Selby Street (Reasons for Designation) in Attachment 6 to the report (September 12, 2022) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning;

 

n. 7 Selby Street in accordance with the Statement of Significance: 7-11 Selby Street (Reasons for Designation) in Attachment 7 to the report (September 12, 2022) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning;

 

o. 9 Selby Street in accordance with the Statement of Significance: 7-11 Selby Street (Reasons for Designation) in Attachment 7 to the report (September 12, 2022) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning; and

 

p. 11 Selby Street in accordance with the Statement of Significance: 7-11 Selby Street (Reasons for Designation) in Attachment 7 to the report (September 12, 2022) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning.

 

2. City Council authorize the City Solicitor to introduce the necessary bills in City Council designating the properties in Part 1 above under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act.
