Community Council Decision

The Toronto and East York Community Council:  

 

1. Amended the existing parking prohibition in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the south side of Dewbourne Avenue, between a point 24.8 metres east of Bathurst Street and Richview Avenue, to be in effect between a point 44.8 metres east of Bathurst Street and Richview Avenue.

 

2. Amended the existing stopping prohibition in effect at all times on the south side of Dewbourne Avenue, between Bathurst Street and a point 24.8 metres east, to be in effect at all times between Bathurst Street and a point 44.8 metres east.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

 

Transportation Services is recommending that the existing stopping prohibition on the south side of Dewbourne Avenue, between Bathurst Street and a point 24.8 metres east, be extended 20 metres further east.  The proposed amendment will deter parking on this stretch of the road and improve traffic flow.
