The Toronto and East York Community Council:

1. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times, on the east side of Hazelton Avenue, between Davenport Road and a point 23 metres south.

2. Rescinded the existing maximum one-hour parking regulation in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on the east side of Hazelton Avenue, between a point 65.5 metres north of Scollard Street and Davenport Road.

3. Authorized parking for a maximum period of one-hour from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on the east side of Hazelton Avenue, between a point 65.5 metres north of Scollard Street and a point 49.5 metres south of Davenport Road.

4. Designated a commercial loading zone to be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on the east side of Hazelton Avenue, between Davenport Road and a point 34 metres further south.

5. Prohibited stopping at all times on the east side of Hazelton Avenue, between a point 34 metres south of Davenport Road and a point 10 metres further south.

Residents of 133 Hazelton Avenue have requested that a Commercial Loading Zone be installed on Hazelton Avenue, adjacent to their building.

The building's driveway is covered, making it too small to accommodate large vehicles. This results in delivery and moving trucks illegally parking on Davenport Road, blocking the bike lane, car lane, or both, on a daily basis. A Commercial Loading Zone on Hazelton will allow for vehicles to safely pull over to conduct their business between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

A Commercial Loading Zone is to be implemented and through application by the condominium at 133 Hazelton Avenue. The applicant is responsible for the estimated one-time installation fee of $250.00, plus the annual fee of $414.42 associated with the commercial loading zone.
