Community Council Decision
The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Waived the polling requirement under the City's Traffic Calming Policy and authorized the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Woodington Avenue between Queensdale Avenue and Strathmore Boulevard.
2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter sections of the roadway on Woodington Avenue, between Queensdale Avenue and Strathmore Boulevard, for traffic calming purposes, generally as shown on the copy of Drawing 421G3858, dated April 2021, from the Acting Director, Transportation Services, Toronto and East York District.

Summary
Residents have reached out to my office with concerns about speeding along their street and requested that traffic calming measures (speed humps) be installed on the street as a method of addressing these concerns. My office polled the homes on the street and found over 73 percent of the residents were in support of making this change.
I am requesting that speed humps be installed on Woodington Avenue from Queensdale Avenue and Strathmore Boulevard.
