2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter sections of the roadway on Balfour Avenue, for traffic calming purposes, generally as shown on the copy of Drawing 421G3837, dated February 2021, from the Acting Director, Transportation Services, Toronto and East York District.
Origin
Summary
Residents have reached out to my office with concerns about speeding along their street and requested that traffic calming measures (speed humps) be installed on the street as a method of addressing these concerns. My office polled the homes on the street and found over 95 percent of the residents were in support of making this change.
I am requesting that speed humps be installed on Balfour Avenue.
