The Toronto and East York Community Council:

1. Appointed the following candidate,  at pleasure of Council, to the Swansea Town Hall Board of Management for a term of office ending April 30, 2023, and until a successor is appointed:

Brenda Futz

At the Swansea Town Hall Board Meeting on February 25, 2021, the Board nominated the individual listed above for appointment by Toronto and East York Community Council to the Board of Management of the Swansea Town Hall Community Centre.

Appointments to the Swansea Town Hall Community Centre Board of Management is a matter for which the Community Council has been delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision, provided that the recommendations do not vary from the Public Appointments Policy.

The date of original appointment and years of service that the Board Member who is recommended for reappointment, is as follows:

- Brenda Futz (May 2018, ~3 years of service as of March 2021)
 

The nominee is eligible and qualified to serve on the Board of Management pursuant to the relevant provisions of the City of Toronto By-law (Chapter 25 of the former City of Toronto Municipal Code), the Relationship Framework for Board run Community Centers and the Public Appointments Policy.

By this letter, the Board of Management requests that the individual named be appointed as Director on the Board of Management of Swansea Town Hall Community Centre.
