City Council Decision
City Council on May 5 and 6, 2021, adopted the following:
1. City Council amend the existing paid parking regulation in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, for a maximum period of 3 hours at a rate of $3.00 per hour on the west side of Hambly Avenue, between Queen Street East and a point 37 metres further north, to be in effect between Queen Street East and a point 22 metres further north.
2. City Council designate an accessible parking space to operate all times on the west side of Hambly Avenue, between a point 32 metres north of Queen Street East and a point 5.5 metres further north.

Community Council Recommendations
The Toronto and East York Community Council recommends that:
1. City Council amend the existing paid parking regulation in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, for a maximum period of 3 hours at a rate of $3.00 per hour on the west side of Hambly Avenue, between Queen Street East and a point 37 metres further north, to be in effect between Queen Street East and a point 22 metres further north.

Summary
As the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) operates a transit service on Hambly Avenue, City Council approval of this report is required.
Transportation Services is recommending the installation of an accessible parking space on the west side of Hambly Avenue, between a point 32 metres north of Queen Street East to a point 5.5 metres north. The proposed accessible parking space will facilitate on-street parking for a local resident with an accessible permit.
