The Toronto and East York Community Council:

1.  Rescinded the car-share vehicle parking area for up to two Enterprise CarShare vehicles on the west side of Stadium Road, between a point 62 metres south of Lake Shore Boulevard West and a point 11 metres further south.

2.  Rescinded the car-share vehicle parking area for up to three Zipcar vehicles on the north side of Douro Street, between a point 17.5 metres east of Shaw Street and a point 11 metres further east.

3.  Amended the parking machine regulation in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, for a maximum period of 13 hours and at a rate of $3.00 per hour, $6.00 maximum, on the north side of Douro Street, between a point 28.5 metres east of Shaw Street and a point 87 metres west of Strachan Avenue to be in effect between a point 17.5 metres east of Shaw Street and a point 87 metres west of Strachan Avenue.

4.  Amended the parking machine regulation in effect from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, for a maximum period of 8 hours and at a rate of $3.00 per hour, $6.00 maximum, on the north side of Douro Street, between a point 28.5 metres east of Shaw Street and a point 87 metres west of Strachan Avenue to be in effect, between a point 17.5 metres east of Shaw Street and a point 87 metres west of Strachan Avenue.

5. Amended the existing permit parking regulation in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., all times, except no stopping anytime from Strachan Avenue to a point 87 metres west and from King Street West to a point 17.5 metres east of Shaw Street, and no parking anytime from a point 17.5 metres east of Shaw Street to a point 11 metres further east, on the even (north) side of Douro Street (east-west branch), between Strachan Avenue and Douro Street (north-south leg), to be in effect all times, except no stopping anytime from Strachan Avenue to a point 87 metres west and from King Street West to a point 17.5 metres east of Shaw Street.

This staff report is about a matter for which Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City Policy or by-laws.

Transportation Services is requesting authorization to rescind car-share vehicle parking areas (CVPAs) on Stadium Road and on Douro Street and to amend existing permit parking and parking machine regulations on Douro Street in conjunction with the removal of CVPA spaces.
