Community Council Decision

Scarborough Community Council;

 

1. Requested the General Manager of Economic Development to report back and present at the May 18, 2021 meeting of Scarborough Community Council regarding how Economic Development staff are engaging Scarborough Community Councillors and businesses in economic development initiatives.

 

2. Requested the General Manager of Economic Development to report back and present at the May 18, 2021 meeting of Scarborough Community Council regarding how 2020 Economic Development programs were implemented in Scarborough, assisted Scarborough businesses, and how successful they were relative to other areas of the City, including, but not limited to: CafeTO, CurbTO, DriveInTO, ShowLoveTO, StrollTO, BigArtTO, MakeArtTO, City Hall Spotlight.

 

3. Requested the General Manager of Economic Development to report back and present at the May 18, 2021 meeting of Scarborough Community Council regarding how the lessons learned from 2020 have been incorporated into 2021 plans, and what the 2021 plans are to support Scarborough businesses.

 

4. Requested the General Manager of Economic Development to report back and present at the May 18, 2021 meeting of Scarborough Community Council regarding how more Business Improvement Areas in Scarborough can be created and what resources can be provided to them.
