Scarborough Community Council:

1. Authorized compulsory stop control for eastbound traffic on Mandarin Road at Willamere Drive.

2. Authorized compulsory stop control for eastbound traffic on Pastrano Court at Willamere Drive.

3. Authorized compulsory stop control for southbound traffic on Nicloan Road at Willamere Drive.

4. Authorized compulsory stop control for northbound traffic on Willamere Drive (north-east intersection) at Fermoy Road.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

Transportation Services is requesting approval to install a compulsory stop control at four currently uncontrolled "T" type intersections on Willamere Drive. Based on an assessment undertaken, the installation of compulsory stop control is recommended to clearly define the right-of-way and enhance safety for all road users.
