Members, I will now review the Order Paper. 

We have 3 deferred Items before us today:

Items GL22.8, TE23.10 and TE23.21.

The Mayor has designated Item CC34.1 on COVID-19 Response Update: Protecting People Experiencing Homelessness and Ensuring the Safety of the Shelter System, and Item IE22.13 on Mechanical Sidewalk Winter Maintenance Trial as his Key Matters for this meeting.  These will be our first items of business today.

The Notice of Motion run through is scheduled for 2 p.m. tomorrow only if the Mayor's Key Matters are completed. 

I propose that City Council set a time for a closed session, if required, later in the meeting.

Members, Item GL23.13 on an amendment to a non-competitive blanket contract for the provision of portable washrooms and sinks in the City's parks is related to the Mayor's first Key Matter, Item CC34.1.  I propose that they be considered together.

Mayor Tory do you consent to the joining of this Item with your key matter?

Members, I also propose that Item HL28.1 on Response to COVID-19 May Update, be considered as the first Item of business after Member Motions tomorrow so that the Medical Officer of Health can be available.

I will now go through the items to take additional Member holds.     I will review the Order Paper one section at a time.

The Clerk will now open the speakers list in CMP and you can place your name on the list.  When I recognize you, unmute your mic and state the item or items you wish to hold.   

That in accordance with Section 27-7.10 of Council Procedures, City Council remove Item EC22.9, headed "Evidence-Based Safe Reopening Plan for Live Music Venues" from the Economic and Community Development Committee and bring the Item forward to City Council for consideration.

June 8, 2021 at 10:51 a.m. - That City Council adopt the June 8, 2021 Order Paper, as amended and all other Items not held on consent.

June 9, 2021 at 10:06 a.m. - Speaker Nunziata advised Council of the following:

Members, we will now review and confirm the Order Paper. There are 61 Items left on the agenda, including 42 Member Motions.

Council will consider the Member Motion run through at 2 p.m.  The additional Motions that were added yesterday have been posted online.

Council has decided to consider Item HL28.1 on the COVID-19 May update as the first item after Member Motions.

I will now take the release of holds.  Please put your name on the list if you have an item to release.  

I have also reviewed a number of urgent Motions to be added to the agenda.
