The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Two-Spirit Advisory Committee:

1.  Elected Laura McPhie as Co-Chair of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Two-Spirit Advisory Committee for a term of office ending on November 14, 2022.

There were two nominations for the position of Co-Chair of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Two-Spirit Advisory Committee.

Councillor Paul Ainslie nominated Susan Gapka.

leZlie lee kam nominated Laura McPhie.

The following candidates addressed the Committee:

The Chair advised the members of the balloting process and explained that balloting would be conducted by electronic means, with members submitting their ballots to the Clerk by e-mail or text message.

Once all ballots had been submitted, the Clerk tallied the results.

The Clerk declared Laura McPhie as the Co-Chair of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Two-Spirit Advisory Committee.

In accordance with Section B.3. of the Terms of Reference of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Two-Spirit (LGBTQ2S+) Advisory Committee, the Committee will elect a member of the public as Co-Chair.
