Summary
This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.
Transportation Services is recommending that the existing metered parking on the west side of Bales Avenue, between a point 9.6 metres north of Avondale Avenue and a point 23 metres north of Avondale Avenue be removed, at which time a default parking prohibition will be in effect as per the City of Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 950 (Traffic and Parking). The proposed amendment will deter parking at the new signalized intersection of Avondale Avenue and Bales Avenue/Harrison Garden Boulevard and will improve vehicle movements by maintaining a clear passage for vehicles.
