City Council Decision
City Council on June 8 and 9, 2021, adopted the following:
1. City Council amend its previous decision on Item 2021.MM32.38 by deleting Part 1 and replacing it with the following:
1. City Council authorize the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, in consultation with the Chief Building Official and Executive Director, Toronto Building to enter into an agreement in a form satisfactory to the City Solicitor, to defer the payment of development charges for Regent Park Community Health Centre, 465 Dundas Street East, based on the general terms and conditions as outlined in Attachment 1 to Motion MM34.37, including any amendments to previously executed agreements, as necessary, relating to the payment of development charges.

That Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam be permitted to add to the agenda of today's meeting an urgent Motion without Notice concerning:
Re-opening of Deferral of Development Charges for Regent Park Community Health Centre
Reason for Urgency:
This Motion is urgent as without this deferral, Regent Park Community Health Centre would not be able to continue to operate life-saving services while the renovation is in progress.
Speaker Nunziata advised Council that consideration of Motion MM34.37 requires a re-opening of Item MM32.38 (City Council – May 5 and 6, 2021). A two-thirds vote of the Council Members present is required to re-open the Item.
