City Council Decision
City Council on June 8 and 9, 2021, adopted the following:
1. City Council authorize the City Solicitor to appeal the May 27, 2021 decision of the North York Panel of the Committee of Adjustment regarding Application A0215/21NY respecting 75 Canterbury Place to the Toronto Local Appeal Body and direct the City Solicitor, and any other appropriate City staff, to attend any subsequent hearing of the appeal.
2. City Council authorize the City Solicitor to retain outside consultants as necessary.
3. City Council authorize the City Solicitor to attempt to negotiate a resolution of the appeal and, if a resolution is reached, to settle the appeal at the City Solicitor's discretion, and in consultation with the Ward Councillor and the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning.

Representation at a Toronto Local Appeal Body hearing for 75 Canterbury Place
Reason for Urgency:
This Motion is urgent as the City Solicitor needs authority to appeal the Decision to the Toronto Local Appeal Body in order to oppose the proposed minor variances requested in the Application.
