City Council Decision

City Council on June 8 and 9, 2021, adopted the following:

1. City Council request the Medical Officer of Health and the General Manager, Shelter, Support and Housing Administration to report back with an update on all residential rehabilitation treatment programs and services currently offered in the City by all levels of government and by all non-profit agencies for individuals of limited income who are dealing with substance abuse challenges.

Speaker Nunziata advised Council that the provisions of Chapter 27, Council Procedures, require that Motion MM34.20 be referred to the Board of Health. A two-thirds vote of the Council Members present is required to waive referral.
