City Council Decision
City Council on May 5 and 6, 2021, adopted the following:
1. City Council declare the properties municipally known as 50-54 Lakeview Avenue surplus, with the intended manner of sale to be by way of an offer to purchase on the open market, and direct staff to take all steps necessary to comply with the City's real estate disposal process set out in Municipal Code Chapter 213, Real Property, Sale of.
2. City Council authorize the Executive Director, Corporate Real Estate Management, to proceed with the sale of 50-54 Lakeview Avenue as quickly as possible, and request the Executive Director, Corporate Real Estate Management to seek approval from City Council, for the direction of the said proceeds of the sale, for reinvestment directly into the surrounding community.

50-54 Lakeview Avenue - Consideration of City-Owned Properties in areas surrounding Modular Housing Initiative
Reason for Urgency:
This Motion is urgent because there is a need to provide direction to City staff as the sale proceeds and these funds will be dedicated for the construction of the new park next to the modular housing building; this needs to go to tender and having the necessary funds is required.
