City Council Decision
City Council on May 5 and 6, 2021, adopted the following:
1. City Council increase the 2021- 2030 Council Approved Capital Budget and Plan for Economic Development and Culture by $156,287.06 gross and $0 debt in project costs with cash flow funding of $25,000 in 2021 and future year commitments of $131,287.06 in 2022 for the new Public Art – Pam McConnell memorial project, fully funded by Section 37 funds (Planning Act Reserve Funds) received from the development at 75, 77, and 83 Mutual Street, secured for community/cultural/recreational space improvements in the local area (Source Account XR3026-3700877) for the purpose of commissioning, fabricating and installing the Pam McConnell commemorative artwork at 640 Dundas Street West, as directed by City Council.
