City Council Decision
City Council on May 5 and 6, 2021, adopted the following:
1. City Council direct the General Manager, Transportation Services to report to the September 14, 2021 meeting of the Infrastructure and Environment Committee on the feasibility of clearing snow from accessible parking spaces on City streets when undertaking winter maintenance work, such review to be considered within the parameters contained within the City's sidewalk snow removal trial conducted in the 2020-2021 winter maintenance period.

Speaker Nunziata advised Council that the provisions of Chapter 27, Council Procedures, require that Motion MM32.19 be referred to the Infrastructure and Environment Committee. A two-thirds vote of the Council Members present is required to waive referral.
That City Council amend Recommendation 1 by replacing "July 5, 2021" with "September 14, 2021" that so that it now reads as follows:
1. City Council direct the General Manager of Transportation Services to report to the September 14, 2021 meeting of the Infrastructure and Environment Committee on the feasibility of clearing snow from accessible parking spaces on City streets when undertaking winter maintenance work, such review to be considered within the parameters contained within the City's sidewalk snow removal trial conducted in the 2020-2021 winter maintenance period.
