City Council Decision
City Council on February 2, 3 and 5, 2021, adopted the following:
1. City Council direct the City Solicitor and any other appropriate City staff to attend the Toronto Local Appeal Body hearing in respect to 105 Pitfield Road (Files B0023/20SC, A0140/20SC, and A0141/20SC) to support the Committee of Adjustment's refusal of the applicant's proposed development and oppose the appeal.
2. City Council authorize the City Solicitor to retain outside consultants as necessary.
3. City Council authorize the City Solicitor to negotiate, if necessary, a resolution of the appeal and, if a resolution is reached, to settle the appeal at the City Solicitor's discretion and in consultation with the Ward Councillor and the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning.

Speaker Nunziata advised Council that the provisions of Chapter 27, Council Procedures, require that Motion MM28.13 be referred to the Scarborough Community Council. A two-thirds vote of the Council Members present is required to waive referral.
