City Council Decision

City Council on February 2, 3 and 5, 2021, adopted the following:

  

1. City Council direct the General Manager, Transportation Services, in consultation with accessibility stakeholders, to develop accessibility guidelines, workshops and harmonized standards in the delivery of an expanded cycling network and to report back to the Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee by the end of the third quarter of 2021, such consultation to include the Advisory Committee on Accessible Transit as it relates to potential safety and accessibility issues for transit users, including the increased opportunity for conflict with Toronto Transit Commission passengers boarding or exiting vehicles.

That City Council amend the Infrastructure and Environment Committee Recommendation to now read as follows:
