Point of Order by Councillor Paul Ainslie

Councillor Ainslie, on a Point of Order, stated his understanding that the item was originally a Notice of Motion that was sent to Committee and that the recommendations before Council were from the Committee and that the Deputy Mayor had made it seem that the recommendations were not discussed at the Committee.

Ruling by Speaker Frances Nunziata
Speaker Nunziata ruled that she heard the Deputy Mayor say that there wasn't a staff report at Committee it was a Members Motion, which was correct.

Point of Order by Councillor Paula Fletcher

Councillor Fletcher, on a Point of Order, stated that he understood it was a Members Motion, however she felt that the Deputy Mayor insinuated that there was something wrong with that and that many Members' Motions are discussed at Committee.

Declared Interests (City Council)

The following member(s) declared an interest:

Councillor Nick Mantas - as his family member is an owner of a taxi plate.
