Community Council Decision
The Etobicoke York Community Council:
1. Rescinded the existing parking machines on both sides of Brookers Lane, between Lake Shore Boulevard West and a point 15.0 metres west of Annie Craig Drive, in operation from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sundays for a maximum period of three hours, at a rate of $1.00 per hour.
2. Authorized parking machines on the south side of Brookers Lane, between a point 25 metres east of Lake Shore Boulevard West and a point 15.0 metres west of Annie Craig Drive to be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sundays, for a maximum period of three hours at a rate of $1.00 per hour.
3. Authorized parking machines on the north side of Brookers Lane, between a point 30 metres east of Lake Shore Boulevard West and a point 15.0 metres west of Annie Craig Drive to be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sundays, for a maximum period of three hours at a rate of $1.00 per hour.
4. Prohibited stopping at all times on the south side of Brookers Lane, between Lake Shore Boulevard West and a point 25 metres east.
5. Prohibited stopping at all times on the north side of Brookers Lane, between Lake Shore Boulevard West and a point 30 metres east.

Summary
My office receives frequent complaints regarding cars parking in the No Parking Anytime area on Brookers Lane at Lake Shore Boulevard West. To prevent motorists from stopping in this area, a No Stopping Anytime prohibition is recommended.
