1.  Bid Award Panel grant authority to award the contract in accordance with the Contract Details set out in the report (March 31, 2021) from the Chief Procurement Officer:

Description:

For the Supply and Delivery of Five (5) Latest Model, Compact Sweepers for a fixed period of one (1) year from the date of award to April 7, 2022, all in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Request for Quotation (RFQ) and any applicable City policy.

The Request for Quotation (RFQ) was structured to purchase Seven (7) units from various tables in Lot A and Lot B. Following the evaluation, Fleet Services cancelled Lot A – Table 2 (2 Units) and Lot B – Table 1 (1 unit).  To meet operational requirements One (1) additional unit was added to Lot A – Table 1 changing the total purchase to Five (5) units, which is in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Request for Quotation (RFQ).

Cubex Ltd. (LOT A - Table 1)

Contract Award Value:

$953,557 net of all applicable taxes and charges

$1,077,519 including all applicable taxes and charges  

$970,340 net of Harmonized Sales Taxes (HST) recoveries

Contract is expected to start on date of award and end on April 7, 2022.

The award amounts on page 1 reflect the updated requirements as per the client's recommendation letter (cost of additional vehicle and parts included). Cubex Ltd., is being awarded only for Lot A, Table 1. Appendix "B" Table 2 and Appendix "C" Table 1 have been cancelled for award due to a change in operational requirements.
