The Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee:

1.  Elected Pamela Hart and Bryan Winters as Co-Chairs of the Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee for a term of office ending November 14, 2022.

There were four nominations for the 2 positions of Co-Chair of the Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee.

Andrea Chrisjohn nominated Ruth Koleszar-Green.

Bryan Winters nominated Pamela Hart.

Millie Knapp nominated Larry Frost.

Pamela Hart nominated Bryan Winters.

Larry Frost subsequently withdrew his name from consideration.

The following candidates addressed the Committee:

Jeffrey Schiffer, Co-Chair, advised the members of the balloting process and explained that balloting would be conducted by electronic means, with Members submitting their ballots for 2 candidates to the Clerk by e-mail or text message.

Once all ballots had been submitted, the Clerk tallied the results.

Jeffrey Schiffer, Co-Chair, declared Pamela Hart and Bryan Winters as the new Co-Chairs of the Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee.

On August 29, 2019, the Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee elected two Co-chairs for a term of office ending December 31, 2020 and until successors are appointed.

The Committee will elect two Co-chairs for a term of office ending November 14, 2022.
