Summary
Tracey King, Indigenous Human Resources Lead, Ryerson University and Member, Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee, and Scott Sunday, Indigenous Program Coordinator, Ryerson University, will provide an overview of the Learn for Empowerment Program, a trauma-informed, community-based program with the goal of providing a cohort of Indigenous participants with a collaborative culturally-safe, strength-based learning, and work experience to assist them in finding work at Ryerson University or elsewhere.
